The Delta Mu Zeta Pamela Profit Finer Womanhood Scholarship was established in the 1990’s to assist young women seeking higher education by providing them with funds to help cover some of their first year costs. The scholarship, named for Triumphant Zeta Pamela Profit who was a member of the chapter and an educator for the city of New York; was established to honor her memory and further promote higher education in young women. The program is open only to graduating senior class girls of Samuel Gompers Vocational and Technical High School in the Bronx, New York. The Ruth Walcott Incentive Award was created in 2005 to recognize the achievements of the scholarship finalists who exhibit our ideals of scholarship, community service and finer womanhood in their daily lives.

The filing period for the 2006 Pamela Profit Finer Womanhood Scholarship is February 20 – April 7, 2006. Click on the following links to download the guidelines and application.

Undergraduate Scholarship

The Delta Mu Zeta Undergraduate Scholarship program is designed to reward and assist undergraduate Zetas with financial assistance towards their higher education goals. The scholarship is only available to members of Epsilon chapter, and is awarded to those who exemplify the principles of Zeta, especially academically. One scholarship is presented annually during the Delta Mu Zeta, Epsilon and Amicae of Manhattan's annual Finer Womanhood Luncheon in March.
