Soror Greene is a member of Delta Mu Zeta Chapter. She was initiated into the Sorority through the Epsilon Chapter on May 20, 2000 at the tender age of 28, while attending The City University of New York, City College. Since her initiation she has proven to be an excellent asset to the organization. She was named the 2002 Undergraduate of the Year by Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, Delta Mu Zeta Chapter. She has held several leadership positions within the sorority such as the Basileus, First Anti Basileus, Tamias, Grammateus, and Epistoleus of Epsilon Chapter. She was also the NYS Undergraduate Representative to the NYS Executive Board and the NYS Representative to the Regional Nominating Committee. In July 2004, at our Boulé in Hollywood, CA she was elected by our sorors as the National Third Anti Basileus of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, and in June 2006, she was elected as the Third Anti Basileus for Delta Mu Zeta Chapter.
Soror Greene has worked hard to exemplify and uphold the ideals of Scholarship, Service, Finer Womanhood and Sisterly Love. Michele is very passionate about doing the work and handling the business of Zeta. During her tenure as the National Third Anti Basileus she has conducted workshops on Protocol and The Image of Zeta and attended the Zeta Organizational Leadership Conference (ZOL), which increased her knowledge and skills to be an exceptional leader in Zeta. She has also attended various Z-HOPE (Zetas Helping Other People Excel) workshops, which is our International Service Initiative. ZHOPE is an outreach service program, which allows the members of Zeta to implement programs for our Youth, Women, Men and International Women.
Soror Greene is also a Past Ex-Officio Member of the Board of Managers for the National Educational Foundation. The National Educational Foundation of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. with 501© 3 status is created and operated exclusively for charitable and educational purposes. The principle activities and purpose of the trust are to award scholarship grants to worthy students for the pursuit of higher education; to conduct community educational programs which will aid in the educational and vocational improvement in individual and community living standards; to engage in activities which will aid in the educational development of all women; and to engage in any appropriate research related to the purposes of the Foundation scholarship.
