Kim McDonald - Historian

Soror Kim Renee McDonald of Harlem, NY joined Zeta Phi Beta Sorority at the University of South Carolina (Psi Eta Chapter). As a member of Psi Eta, Soror McDonald participated in the Adopt-a-Highway Program, fundraising projects (bake sale, Valentine's Day lollipops sale), and visited a halfway house for teenaged boys. She was a participant in a step show performed by the "United Black Step Team" and along with her chapter sorors, she opened up with a step show for Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity who were celebrating their anniversary. In addition, the chapter was requested to perform at a high school in another city in SC. Soror McDonald also attended the State Conference in Columbia, SC. Soror McDonald holds an A.A.S. in Data Processing from the Borough of Manhattan Community College, a B.A. in Management and Administration, and a M.P.A (Public Administration) from Metropolitan College of New York. Currently, Soror McDonald is Delta Mu Zeta's Epistoleus. Soror McDonald has been an active, reclaimed member of DMZ since January 2005. As a member, Soror McDonald served as member of the Archonette Club (05/06) and is currently Secretary. She also serves as Secretary of the newly-formed Amicette Club and of the Youth Group. Soror McDonald also served as a voting delegate at Boule 2006. Soror McDonald is a full-time parent of a son and is employed as a Senior Caseworker at the Harlem Children's Zone, Inc. Truancy Prevention program.
