My name is Chevonne F. Sharpe. I was raised in New York with a lot of Southern ways (that originated from Ahoskie, North Carolina). I am a product of the New York City Public School System (P.S. 234, I.S. 144 and Evander Child High School). I continued my education and graduated from Saint Augustine's College (Raleigh, North Carolina), City College (New York, New York) and College of New Rochelle (New Rochelle, New York). While at Saint Augustine's College, I felt "the love for the dove" and became a proud member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority. I was very active on campus and "enjoyed my college experience".

I love working with kids and that is why I went into the field of education. I loved being a teacher but I wanted to affect "more than 30 students". I wanted to affect the world. That is why I am now a junior high school Assistant Principal in the South Bronx. My future goals are to become a principal and then eventually own my own school. I love people and I love to smile. I believe laughter is music to the ear, sunshine to the face and melody to the heart. Life is truly what you make it, so enjoy it.
