Celeste Glenn - Community Service

Soror Celeste Morgan Glenn, serves as the Chair of Delta Mu Zeta Chapter's Community Service/Social Action Committee. She is a graduate of Georgetown University, where she received a Bachelor of Arts Degree, majoring in Government. While studying in Washington, D.C., she became familiar with our illustrious sorority and was initiated into Alpha Chapter in April 1976.

Soror Glenn has served as New York City's Director of Minority and Woman-Owned Businesses as well as Director of the New York City Small Business Enterprise Program. She has also directed York College's Small Business Development Center. She has been a member of the staff of the New York City Housing Authority for 10 years, currently serving as the Director of the Research and Management Analysis Department where she is responsible for monitoring and measuring that agency's performance in key areas.

Soror Glenn is a National Urban/Rural Fellow and a graduate of City University's Baruch College where she earned a Master of Public Administration Degree. She is the proud mother of Bryan and major support of two cats (Queen and Princess), one dog (Souljah) and one snake (nameless). She is an active member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Jamaica, New York where she is a former Trustee and member of the Hearts for the Lord and Sanctuary Choirs. Soror Glenn was reclaimed in 2005 and is enjoying being back in the Zeta fold.
